For those of you confused by my using "milk" in La Dolce Vegan. What I mean by that is "milk". You know.... soy "milk", rice "milk", oat "milk", etc etc etc.
I kinda thought you guys would know what "milk" meant... but by the amount of e-mails I'm getting... I guess it's not clear. :)
My publisher was right. I should have put in a little disclaimer about that. Did you hear me BRIAN!! You were right. I was wrong. :)
NO! YOU were right, sarah.
ReplyDeleteif a person reading a VEGAN cookbook does not know what "milk" means, they should keep that confusion to themselves.
Hey Sarah, I assumed that those reading and buying a vegan cookbook would get that whole no-animal-prodcuts thang that IS Veganism.
ReplyDeleteAre you getting Vegans writing you complaining you promote milk?
I thought it was obvious as well. The quotes really emphasize the point.
ReplyDeleteMeh. People are stupid sometimes.
dude. totally obvious. people that don't understand just haven't gotten their veganism membership card yet. give 'em time. :)
ReplyDeleteSarah, I totally got that. And I'm a 3 week old vegan. Get on board, people! --- Jenna
ReplyDeleteOk good.
ReplyDeleteI thought for a while that I was crazy... but it seems that we're all the smartest and everyone else is crazy.
Yay for us.
I get it. But I've been vegan for almost four years now.
ReplyDeleteWHAT!? Vegans don't drink milk? And fish isn't a vegetable? What is the world coming to :P
ReplyDeletei thought it was obvious..hmm.
ReplyDeleteyou are right to just say "milk", sarah, and you know what? Cow's milk cartons should say "Cow's milk" on them,(the way soy milk cartons say soy milk) instead of just milk. then maybe people would think twice about buying a product meant for another animal.
